Premendra Mazumder is a renowned film festival consultant from India. He is also a film critic, author, curator, consultant, society activist, festival organizer, and festival-advisor. His contributions to the film society movement have received international recognition. He held the positions of Vice President of the Federation of Film Societies of India from 2010 to 2014, Asian Secretary of the International Federation of Film Societies from 2010 to 2012, and General Secretary of the same federation from 2014 to 2016.

As the head of both the Indian Cinema Critics Association and the Film Critics Circle of India, Premendra Mazumder has a significant impact on the global film industry. His standing in the global film industry has also been reinforced by his role as the Official Correspondent of India for the Cannes Critics Week since 2006.
